This may sound a bit crazy to some Ed001, but don't you think Wijnaldum would be a better signing for Barcelona than Thiago? Seems to be a lot of commotion when it comes to picking between the two. I think Thiago is the better footballer but Wijnaldum would add the intensity and energy that this Barcelona team currently lacks, they get overrun far too easily.

{Ed001's Note - that is a very good point. The problem is that, much as I love him, Gini can often fail to provide any intensity. He often plays within himself and that is already an issue with the Barca side. On their best days then yes, I would agree with you. Problem is that he doesn't have enough of those best days and is far too laidback. He needs to be angry more often, like he was when benched against Barcelona. When he came off the bench, he battered their midfield to prove a point that he should have been starting. That Gini would be perfect for Barca.}

Yes i agree, sometimes it feels as if he isn't on the pitch, maybe a move to Barcelona, playing under Koeman can crop that part of his game out. Still remember when he was taking the p**s out of Barcelona at Anfield aswell, think he ended Busquets' career that night lol.

Bit of a late reply Ed, sweating to see if we manage to get some players in lol, or Ole will be hung out to dry aswell. And not bad myself mate, just getting by, hoping we don't go into another lockdown tbh.

Are you in danger of another lockdown? I don't understand the point in that, the problem is mostly down to idiots refusing to wear masks, so why lock the rest of us up because of those morons?
